Predictive Index® Validation Studies
Predictive Index | Predictive Index History | PI FAQ's
Since it was founded in 1955, the Predictive Index (PI) system has been helping managers to more effectively recruit and lead their organisations. In order to continue providing a programme with high standards of quality and practical use, it is necessary to carry out continual tests to evaluate the system.
These validity tests help to ensure that the PI system remains reliable, accurate and free of bias and are possible because of the scientific credentials of the system.
Since it was founded, over 400 validity studies have been undertaken on the PI system across a range of jobs, industries and countries. These show clearly the accuracy of Predictive Index and the unbiased nature of the system towards race, sex or age.
All tests and development on the system are in compliance with guidelines from the US Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). Validity Studies are undertaken by Dr Todd Harris, Director of Research at PI Worldwide and are offered to all PI Europe clients.
