History of PI Europe
PI Europe, the licensee for the use of Predictive Index® in European countries, was founded in Denmark in 1978 by Niels Lund. Robin Wood, who now occupies the position of Chairman of PI Europe, joined Niels in 1992, having worked for 12 years in the HR Department of TetraPak International’s Head Office in Switzerland. Robin became a partner and shareholder of the business.
In 1997, Robin replaced Niels and became Licensee, President and major shareholder of PI Europe, moving the business to Pully, Switzerland. At this time, the organisation had just 6 consultants offering PI training seminars to a growing list of both European and Global clients.
By the time that Robin had relocated the business to Harrogate in 2004, some 30 consultants were working for PI Europe, offering training seminars and services in an increasing number of languages. With more consultants on the ground, PI Europe was able to develop and expand its activities into 19 countries around the world.
Today, PI Europe has over 72 consultants in 20 countries, working to assist a client base of over 500 organisations at both local level and on a global scale, with an ever-increasing range of services and different products.
In 2009, it was announced that Robin Wood would become Chairman of PI Europe. Morten Lokkegard was subsequently appointed Vice-President of the company, joining PI Europe from AP Moller Maersk. Mike Wood, Vice President (Project Management) completes the current management team.
